Portsmouth are chasing CSKA Moscow striker Dawid Janczyk.
The Poland international has impressed on-loan in Belgium this season with Lokeren.
Belgian sources say Pompey are keen to takeover Janczyk's loan in January for the second-half of the season.
CSKA have the option to recall Janczyk in January.
