Portsmouth chairman Peter Storrie admits interest in Frenchman Patrick Vieira. However, while the 32 year old remains a transfer target for Pompey he is unlikely to join during the January transfer window.

"Patrick is someone we would be very keen to bring here," he said.

"Obviously he is very well-known to Tony (Adams), but my understanding is he has got an injury and that won't be possible in this window."
