Portsmouth chairman Al Fahim hopes to do Zaki business

Portsmouth chairman Sulaiman al-Fahim remains hopeful of bringing El Zamalek striker Amr Zaki to the club.

The former Wigan Athletic striker wants a return to England in January and claims a move to Pompey was on when Al Fahim was in charge.

The minority shareholder now says: "It's not my decision, it's up to Paul Hart and Avram Grant but I'd like to see Amir Zaki here.

"He loves Portsmouth. He calls me almost every week and he wants to be part of the Portsmouth team.

"He is a player who could add value. The price we could get him for is also good."
