Portsmouth boss Redknapp slams claims Gaydamak confronted players

Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has rubbished reports the club's owner, Alexandre Gaydamak, burst into the dressing room to complain about the 6-0 defeat at Manchester City on Sunday.

"Absolute rubbish, you couldn't meet a man who is a better fella to work for than the owner of this club," said Redknapp. "He never comes in the dressing room. He came down 40 minutes after the game because he was looking for the people he came up with on a private plane and he just happened to walk in the dressing room.

"He didn't even discuss the game with me - he is the last person in the world to do that."
