Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp was satisfied with a point after their 0-0 draw with Everton.
All Pompey's possession and chances added up to another goalless home draw with David Moyes' resilient Everton side, who crushed Sunderland 7-1 last week but struggled to create a chance this time.
But Redknapp said: "It was a tough game and we knew it would be, but we are okay.
"We have lost only twice in the Premier League all season - against Arsenal and Chelsea - and we have now gone 10 matches unbeaten.
"The system we are playing is the right one for us. Results prove it. It suits the players for us to have just one striker and two wide attackers and we are difficult to beat.
"It was a tight match and it's difficult to find space at Fratton Park but there is no shame in getting a draw against Everton who are going to be a top-six or top-eight team again this season."
Everton manager David Moyes admitted after the first goalless draw between his side and Pompey in 70 years that the crowd had played their role.
"The crowd's reaction to Harry obviously gave them a big lift but I'm disappointed we didn't create more," he said.
"Harry's players probably pulled his leg about what happened last week and had a laugh, but that sort of thing makes a team strong and we had to be aware of that.
"Last week was all about goals and the attackers getting praise but our defenders took the honours this week.
"The two centre halves (Joleon Lescott and Joseph Yobo) and the goalkeeper (Tim Howard) were outstanding.
"We've gone eight games unbeaten and you've got to be pleased with that. We are in the top 10 and that's now very hard for any team to get into
"Pompey are a big, strong side and I think the conditions, a big gale in the first half especially, suited them more than us. We wanted to get the ball down and play but it was difficult.
"In the last 20 minutes, though, after we made a couple of changes, I thought we looked just as liable to score as Portsmouth were."
