Portsmouth boss Redknapp: My ex-Spurs players ready for revenge

Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp says his ex-Tottenham players are out for revenge tomorrow. Redknapp says White Hart Lane rejects Younes Kaboul, Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and despised former Spurs captain Sol Campbell are fired up to shoot down their former club. He said: “I’ve got a lot of ex-Tottenham players here — Sol, Younes, Jermain and Crouchie and also Sean Davis who is injured. They always want to win every game but they are even more desperate to win this one. “Sol especially is going to be really important.”

Kaboul and Defoe both arrived at Fratton Park after Juande Ramos dumped them.

Redknapp said: “Younes has been terrific since he came here in August.

“Jermain has proved what a good player he is and has got his England place back. He just needed a run of games.”
