Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp remains hopeful of landing Liverpool striker Peter Crouch.

Redknapp said: "I love Crouchie - he's a terrific player. But I think there would be a lot of clubs in for him.

"He would be tasty up front with Defoe, but he belongs to Liverpool and I don't want to upset Rafa Benitez. In all honesty, I don't see them letting him go. But you never know who they might bring in over the summer - things might change."
