Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has given his players homework ahead of their UEFA Cup debut tomorrow night.

The boss has handed all his players a DVD of tomorrow's UEFA Cup first round opponents VitoriaGuimaraes, who finished third in Portugal last term.

Goalkeeper David James said ahead of the Fratton Park clash: "We have been given homework. I have got a DVD to study.

"Normally you can watch sides on TV. With this team that is not so readily available. I cannot even pronounce their name."
