Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp believes Benjani Mwaruwari can be the club's prime striker - ahead of Nwankwo Kanu.
"Perhaps he has not scored as many goals as he should have in the past but he is a good player and I have never had a doubt about that.
"The fans love him and the reason is that he covers so much ground in a game. They appreciate that.
"His scoring ratio has not been that great and I want him to improve that.
Confidence is important and he is full of that at the moment. I have a lot of time for him."
