Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp admits Sulley Muntari is struggling with the pace of the Premiership.

The Ghana captain was sent-off in last night's 1-1 draw with Manchester United and Redknapp said: "It's more difficult than you think coming to this league.

"It's a big change for these players. You throw them out there and they have to adapt to the atmosphere and pace of the game.

"Nowhere else in the world is like England. In other countries they pass it across the back and no one bothers them. They knock it around and that is how the game is.

"Here, you get the ball and someone flies into you."
