Portsmouth boss Paul Hart was pleased with the comeback performance of on-loan Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant in Monday's 0-0 draw at Newcastle United.
Hart said: "We did well against Newcastle, especially in the second half, and overall we just about shaded it. I also thought Jermaine did a great job when he came on.
"Nugent put in a massive shift in difficult circumstances, he worked his pants off. Then Pennant got the ball in during the last third for us, he carried it on and created all sorts of problems.
"He's been injured and then we've had to change the team so he's had to wait for it. He'll get his chance, though."
