Portsmouth boss Hart has no job fears

After defeat to Bolton Wanderers, Portsmouth boss Paul Hart insists he has no concerns over his job.

He told The News: "I'm not concerned. That doesn't mean I don't value my job, though. It's not because there are people saying I'm going to be here all year, either.

"It's because that is something I can't afford to be worried about. I have more important things to deal with."

Pompey are widely tipped to be relegated this season, with a string of pundits writing off their chances of survival.

Hart admitted he could see why people were lining up to condemn the Blues to the Championship after the difficulties they have faced over recent months.

He stated he was unconcerned, however, by their opinions.

Hart said: "It's not pleasant, but you can't argue with the situation we are in. I don't watch Match of the Day, though, I watch Coronation Street instead. The omnibus edition.

"There might be reasons for the position we are in, like having 14 players at the start of the season. But it's not for me to plead my case, I just get on with my job."
