Portsmouth boss Paul Hart was happy to have Avram Grant present for their 0-0 draw at Hull City.

Some cynics suggest the arrival of Grant as director of football means boss Hart's days are numbered. Yet Hart insists they can work in tandem - although HE is in charge.

He said: "We shall discuss football issues, talk about games, that sort of thing.

"But overall charge of the team and coaching is down to me. Avram has vast experience. He's here to assist me and is the buffer between me and the board."
