Portsmouth manager Avram Grant is considering bringing back striker David Nugent from his loan spell at Burnley.
The 24-year old has been with the Clarets for the first half of this season and is due to remain at Turf Moor until later this month but Grant may wish to recall him to ease their current transfer embargo.
"We are thinking about this," acknowledged Grant. "In the next few days we will know.
"It depends on many things. But it could happen."
Nugent is keen to remain with Burnley until the end of the season to add to his three goals in 15 appearances so far.
