Portsmouth manager Avram Grant has agreed a three-year contract with West Ham United.
The Daily Mail says West Ham co-owner David Sullivan has moved swiftly to get his man after Grant was given permission to discuss terms by Portsmouth administrator Andrew Andronikou on Monday.
Grant performed a minor miracle by guiding the club to Saturday's FA Cup final against his former side Chelsea and has been handed the chance to revive West Ham's fortunes after their flirtation with relegation under Gianfranco Zola.
There could yet be an issue to be resolved regarding compensation for Grant, but the Israeli manager believes he is free to leave Fratton Park for nothing after going unpaid for several months due to Portsmouth's much publicised financial problems.
