Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is winning support from within English football.
Villas-Boas begins his Chelsea career in earnest today with the man who will be in the opposition dugout convinced his relative inexperience will not prove a disadvantage.
Villas-Boas, who is not 34 until October, takes his team to Fratton Park for a friendly against Portsmouth, whose boss Steve Cotterill is sure he will be a huge success.
Cotterill said: "I don't necessarily concur with age on lots of things.
"I don't think you are too old to manage and I don't think you're too young.
"I'm pretty sure that Chelsea wouldn't have paid £13m for a manager if they weren't sure."
