Portsmouth boss Tony Adams is confident of sealing a deal for Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen.

The Denmark international is expected to move to the south coast on-loan with the view to a permanent deal at the end of the season.

"I don't like speaking about other players but I will just say that it (the Poulsen deal) is way down the line," said Adams. "We could have a few new recruits before the weekend, though."
