Portsmouth boss Tony Adams has revealed he doesn't expect to tempt Inter Milan midfielder Patrick Vieira to Fratton Park.

The Blues boss had been eyeing his former Arsenal team-mate, but he feels a swoop is a no-go.

"I would love Patrick but I think he's doing alright for Inter at the moment and he's very happy," Adams told The News.

"He's a fantastic football player but he won't be coming to Portsmouth."
