Portsmouth to beat Fulham for Lokomotiv Moscow defender Jan Durica

Lokomotiv Moscow defender Jan Durica is joining Portsmouth.

The Daily Mail says Portsmouth look set to beat Fulham in a bid to sign Slovakia defender Durica.

Craven Cottage boss Roy Hodgson is thought to have lined up the Lokomotiv Moscow centre-half in the event of a deadline-day raid by Arsenal for Brede Hangeland.

But, with Panathinaikos also interested, Pompey have made their move and hope to do a deal that would see Durica initially sign on loan.
