Porto are prepared to sell Eliaquim Mangala this month. The Daily Mail says Porto are willing to agree a loan now with down payment and balance in the summer rather than wait until June to begin an auction. The Portuguese side are taking stock of their exit from the Champions League.
Manchester City are already in contact, while Manchester United and Chelsea also have an interest in Frenchman Mangala.
City's concern for taking Mangala now, apart from cost, is the fact he would be cup-tied for the champions League.
