Porto want Anderson loan as part of Man Utd Mangala deal

Manchester United are chasing Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala. The Daily Star Sunday says French discovery Mangala, 22, is rated at £40 million by Porto and is a target for United, Manchester City and also Chelsea.

Old Trafford chief executive Ed Woodward has confirmed that David Moyes' transfer priorities on succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson as manager were a central defender and a left back.

Porto are keen on a loan deal in January for United's Brazilian midfielder Anderson, who they sold to Old Trafford for £17 million six years ago.
