Porto defender Bruno Alves is interesting Manchester City.
The Sun says City boss Mark Hughes is ready to turn to Portugal international Alves if they continue to be frustrated in pursuit of Everton defender Joleon Lescott.
Porto rejected offers from Barcelona and City in January for Alves.
