FC Porto's Lisandro Lopez is eyeing a move away from the Portuguese club and could be on his way to the English Premier League.

Reports suggest that a Premier League club has had 'advanced contacts' with the Argentine striker and his agent, Fernando Hidalgo has confirmed that he is looking to leave Porto.

"He has only one year left of his contract and the time has come to try to move because signing a contract extension with Porto is not an option," Hidalgo told Calcio Mercato.

"The time has come for a new challenge and we already have had advanced contacts with a Spanish and an English team.

"In Italy? I have not received calls for any Italian team for the moment, but I understand Inter and Mourinho fancy Lisandro, and they know Porto's people pretty well."
