Porto are ready to sign permanently Watford wing-back Miguel Layun.

The Watford Observer says Layun has spent this season on loan at Porto and the club have until May 31 to confirm to the Hornets whether they want to sign him permanently.

Watford received €500,000 from the loan agreement and the Portuguese club have the option to buy Layun for €6million, in two instalments, this summer.

The Mexican international made four appearances last season for Watford under Quique Sanchez Flores before his loan switch to Porto.
