Porto midfielder Fernando has missed out on his chance to join Manchester City.
City were unable to agree terms with Porto over Fernando and Eliaquim Mangala yesterday.
The Daily Mail says the 26-year-old midfielder is due to be out of contract this summer but Porto are now believed to be offering him a new deal.
