Porto midfielder Ruben Micael is a summer target for the Premiership's biggest clubs.

The Sunday Mirror says the 23-year-old comes from the same club that produced Cristiano ­Ronaldo and Manchester United scouts have been alerted to his highly impressive displays in his short career.

Also watching are Chelsea and Manchester City.

Others are keen but have been dissuaded by the price tag that Porto have put on the player who might well figure for Portugal in the World Cup in South Africa this summer.
