Porto midfielder Juan Quintero has described Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi as an "animal".

Quintero, currently on-loan at River Plate, played with Otamendi at Porto.

And he recalled to O Jogo: "Otamendi was an animal. By the way, he still is, I admire him a lot.

"He was the only one in training to fight with Jackson (Martinez)."

Otamendi left Porto for Valencia ahead of joining City three years ago.
