Porto have made an offer to Inter Milan midfielder Santiago Solari.
The Argentina international is coming off contract next month and is wanted by Porto as a potential replacement for Ricardo Quaresma.
UEFA Cup champs Zenit St Petersburg have also been in contact with Solari this week.
