Porto want to bring Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy back to Portugal.
The Mirror says Rovers are trying to cash in on McCarthy, but they may have to settle for a loan or staged payments down the line as he is an expensive player to move with his massive wages.
The South African World Cup hopeful will also have a say about where he goes when clubs come calling and would be keen on a switch to Portugal where he scored regularly and enjoyed the lifestyle.
McCarthy struck for Rovers in yesterday's draw with Wigan Athletic.
