FC Porto boss Julen Lopetegui believes that his team fully deserved their win over Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Portuguese outfit won the Group G fixture 2-1 thanks to the goals from Andre Andre and Maicon either side of Willian's free-kick on the stroke of half-time, prompting words of praise from Lopetegui.

"We are happy for the victory, but more about the mentality and the attitude," Lopetegui said after the game.

"We conceded a goal at the end of the first half, in the second half we tried everything and managed to win the game.

"We had 10 chances in the first half, 10 in the second. We deserved to win."
