Porto are expected to sign Newcastle United defender Chancel Mbemba today.

HLN says Porto have struck terms with the Toon over a fee for the stopper.

Anderlecht made a fresh attempt for Mbemba, but have now conceded defeat to Porto. The Belgians had offered €6m for their former player, with a significant sell on percentage included.

But it still fell short of what Porto had tabled.

Mbemba will now complete his move to Portugal, signing a four-year deal with Porto.
