Porto want €4 million for defender Rolando.
A Bola says Vasco da Gama have failed with a loan bid for Rolando as he wants to stay in Europe.
Newcastle United, Sunderland and Everton have been linked with the centre-half this summer.
Porto are keen to sell this month, with Rolando now only training with the first team squad.
