Porto defender Nicolas Otamendi is open to a late move to England this week.

Otamendi has seen a loan switch to Valencia fall through, but still hopes to leave Porto in the coming days.

The Argentine was linked to a pre-contract with Manchester City before Christmas.

The centre-back has played 16 times for his country after first making his debut under Diego Maradona back in 2009.
