Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala is set to keep Manchester City waiting.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini is keen to sign the Frenchman this summer.

But Mangala revealed: "Negotiations were held with Manchester City, but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement.

"I told my agent that I do not want to know anything about market issues until the World Cup is over.

"My goal is to be in Brazil ... What will happen after the competition, we'll see."
