Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala admits Manchester City made an offer for him last month.
Despite talk of offers from City, Chelsea and Manchester United, the France international remains a Porto player after the closure of the summer market.
"There was an approach, but I'm a Porto player and I feel good here. So I have no problem with this issue," he said.
"If a club is willing to make an astronomical offer, what can I do? I cannot control that. It's part of the business of football today and will continue to be so."
