Porto chiefs are in talks with Iker Casillas about a new contract.
The Real Madrid legend's current deal expires in June and there were indications from Porto management that he would be allowed to leave.
However, Diario de Noticias says Porto's board now wish for Casillas to stay and are in talks with his agent about a new 12 month deal. The Spaniard would not be guaranteed a regular start, but Porto regard his experience as invaluable.
Casillas has contact with Real Betis, Napoli and Newcastle United, but a source says: "We are going to wait some more time. Iker is satisfied in Portugal, he likes the club, the city ... anything can happen."
