Porto coach Julen Lopetegui has paid tribute to Danilo as he moves to Real Madrid. Danilo's transfer was announced this week by both clubs.

"This season, he has wanted to learn to improve in all aspects of the game, tactically, physically, in his concentration ... This individual has helped us improve and the team has grown collectively," says Lopetegui.

On the sale, Lopetegui understands the situation.

"We already knew the strategy of the club and the coach has to adapt to what they give you. That allows us to work with young players that motivates us to polish and perfect."
