Portland Timbers midfielder Sal Zizzo is getting set to unveil a new business venture - a food truck called Zizzo's FC.
The 24-year old and a friend from his native San Diego have purchased a food truck, or cart, and will launch an Italian-themed food business when the MLS regular season is complete.
Zizzo's family owns Italian restaurants in San Diego so he is no stranger to the business, but nonetheless, he is looking forward to some extra-curricular activity away from the soccer pitch.
"It was an idea we had a couple months ago, and we're putting it to work now," Zizzo said. "And it looks like it's going to do well, so I'm excited."
