Portland Timbers are wrapping up the signing of former Celtic striker Cillian Sheridan. Sheridan has been training with the Timbers and done enough to earn a contract.

Bulgarian sources say CSKA Sofia have agreed to release Sheridan to Portland Timbers after successful trials.

The Irishman moved to the Timbers after previous tests with the Seattle Sounders.
