Portland Timbers have permanently signed Diego Valeri from Argentine club Lanus.
The 27-year old striker has been on loan with the Timbers since January but has now signed a multi-year deal believed to be worth around $3million.
Valeri, who was a part of the MLS All-Star game last week, has scored four goals and provided eight assists in 20 appearances for the Timbers.
