Portland Timbers' Nagbe gets MLS young player nod

Portland Timbers forward Darlington Nagbe last week topped a MLS list of the top 24 players under the age of 24.

The 23-year old was placed at number one in the list by MLS reporters after scoring eight goals and producing three assists for the Timbers so far this season.

Nagbe, who came in at 15th last year, is rated as the best young player in the competition ahead of Real Salt Lake's Luis Gil, who came in at number two, Seattle Sounders' DeAndre Yedlin, Philadelphia Union striker Jack McInerney and New England Revolution's Diego Fagundez.
