Portland Timbers forward Valencia in scoring touch at Olimpo

Jose Adolfo Valencia took his tally with loan side Club Olimpo to five goals when hitting the back of the net twice in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Argentinos Juniors.

The 22-year old Colombian forward joined Olimpo from Portland Timbers on a year-long loan in January and has quickly made an impression in Argentina's Primera Division.

At the Estadio Roberto Natalio Carminatti on Tuesday, Valencia added to Damian Musto's early opener when producing a sublime volleyed chip over Argentinos keeper Nereo Ariel Fernandez in the 13th minute.

Just before the half-time break, Valencia essentially wrapped up proceedings when he scored a second which saw him move up to equal second on the top scorers chart.

The win saw Olimpo move to 10th in the Argentine top flight with 19 points from 14 matches, five behind league leaders Estudiantes.
