Portland Timbers eye partnership with Sightbox

Portland Timbers have launched a multi-year, multifaceted partnership with eyecare specialists Sightbox, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

As well as being the Oregon-based franchise's official vision care partner, Sightbox will hold exclusive logo rights for all of the team's training apparel. The two parties also plan to promote the partnership through a series of community-focused activations.

Additionally, Sightbox will benefit from a prominent presence at the Timbers' Providence Park, serving as the presenting partner of the player tunnel, the stadium's box office and each individual MLS season.

The company's branding will also be integrated across multiple Timbers platforms, including digital channels, on site at Providence Park and at the team's training centre.

Mike Golub, president of business for the Timbers, said: "We are thrilled to enter into this multifaceted partnership with Sightbox, an innovative, homegrown company that shares our commitment to the community in which we live."
