Official release from Portland Timbers
The Portland Timbers today announced that forward Bright Dike will join the L.A. Blues of USL PRO on a season-long loan
As part of the agreement, the Timbers may recall Dike from his loan at any time. Timbers general manager Gavin Wilkinson made the announcement.
"Coming off his Achilles injury last season, it is important that Bright get into as many games as possible on a regular basis, and the loan to the Blues will give him that opportunity at a good level," said John Spencer, head coach of the Timbers.
Dike, 25, joined the Blues on Tuesday and will be available for selection for the club's road matches this weekend against the Dayton Dutch Lions and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
