Port Vale interim manager Rob Page says they're shopping in the U21 Premier League market for new loan signings.
Page went on a scouting trip with the chairman to watch Arsenal play Newcastle under-21s last week.
He told The Sentinel: "We are looking at under-21 games every other week.
"If the lads are outstanding and are good enough, then of course they can come in and have an impact straight away. But outside of that, a large portion of it is can we bring them in and develop them?
"It might take weeks, months or longer."
