League OnePort Vale have completed the signing of former Manchester City striker Alex Nimely on a short-term contract until the end of the season. The 23 year old ex-England Under-20 international was released by City in the summer.
"He's got pedigree behind him," Vale boss Rob Page told the club website.
"I spoke to a good friend of mine who says he has quality and we know he is going to bring in that quality, so it's pleasing to get his signature.
"We need to get him fit, he knows that himself, but I think once we do get him fit we'll have a player on our hands."
