Former Chelsea youngster Anthony Grant has likened manager Bruno Ribeiro to Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
Ribeiro was appointed as manager of Port Vale this summer and the 40-year-old has enjoyed a positive start to life at Vale Park so far, with his team currently placed 6th in the League One table.
Joint Valiants skipper Grant has been left extremely impressed by what he has seen of Ribeiro and the ex-Chelsea youngster has stated that the Portuguese manager is very similar to his former boss Jose Mourinho.
Grant told The Times: "He is like Mourinho.
"Everything in training is based around possession and shape; he wants us to build from the back, and he will not let us kick it long."
Vale have won five and drawn two of their 11 league matches this season to be one point clear in a play-off position.
