Port Vale have snapped up Newcastle United defender Remie Streete.
Vale interim boss Rob Page and chairman Norman Smurthwaite saw Streete play for Newcastle United's under-21 side and have moved swiftly now he has become available.
Page said: "They think a lot of him there, we were impressed with what we saw at the game and we feel that if we can get players of his ability and quality in and amongst the lads then it can only benefit the boys we've already got here."
