Porcedda set to buy Bologna from Menarini family

Bologna are set to again change hands.

Italian businessman Sergio Porcedda is close to buying 80 per cent of Bologna's shares from the Menarini family, who currently own the club.

The Aktiva Spa, the company owned by the Menarini, announced that the deal is close to being sealed.

"We have reached an agreement with Mr Porcedda for the sale of 80 per cent of the company's stakes," read a note from the company.
