Popov to make most of West Brom loan spell

Goran Popov is looking forward to at West Bromwich Albion, reports the Birmingham Mail. The Macedonian international signed on a season-long loan deal from Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kyiv.

"I like Premier League football because I like to push forward, I like to cross, I like to fight and come back and help towards a good defence," he said.

"I feel good when I play against famous players and I enjoyed my Europa League games against Man City and Stoke.

"I play well when I play against big teams and big players. I feel good and I want to show that."

The 27-year-old is targeting a permanent move to The Hawthorns.

He continued: "I know that West Bromwich wanted me two or three years ago when I was playing in Holland.

"When I heard that they wanted me a second time I said 'this is a good chance for me to show what I can do'."
